Hadith 2699

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ فَارِسٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْبِسْطَامِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " ثَلاثُ دَعَوَاتٍ مُسْتَجَابَاتٌ لا شَكَّ فِيهِنَّ : دَعْوَةُ الْمَظْلُومِ ، وَدَعْوَةُ الْمُسَافِرِ ، وَدَعْوَةُ الْوَالِدِ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : اسْمُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ .
Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no doubt about the acceptance of three types of supplications: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of a father for his child. (Imam Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) says:) The narrator named Imam Abu Ja'far is Muhammad bin Ali bin Husayn bin Ali bin Abi Talib, that is, (he is Imam Baqir).
