Hadith 2679

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجُ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ بُحَيْنَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَامَ فِي ثِنْتَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ ، فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلاتَهُ ، سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Buhaina (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up after performing two rak‘ahs of the Zuhr prayer. He did not sit down. When he completed the prayer, he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness (sajda sahw), and then he gave salam.
