أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيَمَ ، مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " قَالَ الِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : كَذَّبَنِي ابْنُ آدَمَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ أَنْ يُكَذِّبَنِي ، وَيَشْتُمُنِي ابْنُ آدَمَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَشْتُمَنِي ، فَأَمَّا تَكْذِيبُهُ إِيَّايَ فَقَوْلُهُ : لَنْ يُعِيدَنِي كَمَا بَدَأَنِي ، أَوَ لَيْسَ أَوَّلُ خَلْقٍ بِأَهْوَنَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ إِعَادَتِهِ ، وَأَمَّا شَتْمُهُ إِيَّايَ فَقَوْلُهُ : اتَّخَذَ الِلَّهِ وَلَدًا ، وَأَنَا الِلَّهِ الأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ ، لَمْ أَلِدْ وَلَمْ أُولَدْ ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِي كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ " قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ الِلَّهِ عَنْهُ : فِي قَوْلِهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَوَ لَيْسَ أَوَّلُ خَلْقٍ بِأَهْوَنَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ إِعَادَتِهِ " ، فِيهِ الْبَيَانُ الْوَاضِحُ أَنَّ الصِّفَاتِ الَّتِي تُوقِعُ النَّقْصَ عَلَى مَنْ وُجِدَتْ فِيهِ ، غَيْرُ جَائِزٍ إِضَافَةُ مِثْلِهَا إِلَى اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلا ، إِذِ الْقِيَاسُ كَانَ يُوجِبُ أَنْ يُطْلِقَ بَدَلَ هَذِهِ اللَّفْظَةِ " بِأَهْوَنَ عَلَيَّ " ، بِأَصْعَبَ عَلَيَّ ، فَتَنَكَّبَ لَفْظَةَ التَّصْعِيبِ إِذْ هِيَ مِنْ أَلْفَاظِ النَّقْصِ ، وَأُبْدِلَتْ بِلَفْظِ التَّهْوِينِ الَّذِي لا يَشُوبُهُ ذَلِكَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): “Allah Almighty says: The son of Adam calls Me a liar, though he has no right to call Me a liar. The son of Adam abuses Me, though he has no right to abuse Me. As for his calling Me a liar, it is his saying: Allah will not recreate me as He created me the first time. Is recreating him not easier for Me than creating him the first time? As for his abusing Me, it is his saying: Allah has a child, while I am Allah, the One, the Self-Sufficient. I did not beget, nor was I begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.” (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): “Was creating the first time not easier for Allah than recreating?” contains a clear explanation that those attributes which would constitute a deficiency in a person who possesses them, it is not permissible to attribute anything similar to Allah Almighty, because analogy would require that the words should have been ‘more difficult for Me’ instead of ‘easier for Me.’ But the word ‘difficult’ was abandoned because it is among the words of deficiency, and instead, the word ‘easier’ was used, in which there is no aspect of deficiency.
