Hadith 2603

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ السَّعْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ " أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ رَفَعَ صَوْتَهُ طَوْرًا " ، وَيَذْكُرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ .
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that when he performed voluntary prayers at night, he would raise his voice somewhat. He mentioned that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do the same.
