أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ كَهْمَسِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ : " أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى ؟ " ، قَالَتْ : " لا ، إِلا أَنْ يَجِيءَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ " .
Abdullah bin Shaqiq narrates: I asked Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Did the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) use to perform prayer at the time of Duha? She replied: No, but if he returned from a journey (then on that occasion he would perform prayer at that time).
