Hadith 2525

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَبْدَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي النَّوَافِلَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ يَخْفِضُ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performing voluntary prayers on his mount; in prostration, he would bend lower than in bowing.
