Hadith 2485

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الأَصْفَهَانِيُّ ، بِالْكَرَجِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مُصَلِّيًا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا ، فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ شُغْلٌ فَرَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي الْبَيْتِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever among you wishes to perform prayer after Jumu'ah should perform four rak'ahs. If he is occupied with something, then he should perform two rak'ahs in the mosque and two rak'ahs at home."
