Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A Muslim has six rights over another Muslim.” The people asked: “O Messenger of Allah! What are they?” He replied: “When he meets him, he should greet him with salam; when he invites him, he should accept his invitation; when he seeks his advice, he should advise him sincerely; when he sneezes and praises Allah, he should respond to him; when he is ill, he should visit him; and when he dies, he should accompany his funeral.”
