Hadith 2414

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَهُ الصُّبْحُ فَلَمْ يُوتِرْ ، فَلا وِتْرَ لَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever reaches true dawn (Fajr) and has not performed Witr, then he has no Witr."
