Hadith 2373

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى سُتْرَةٍ ، فَلْيَدْنُ مِنْهَا ، لا يَقْطَعِ الشَّيْطَانُ عَلَيْهِ صَلاتَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Abu Hathmah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "When a person offers prayer facing a sutrah, he should stand close to the sutrah so that Satan does not interrupt his prayer."
