Hadith 2372

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى سُتْرَةٍ ، فَلْيَدْنُ مِنْهَا ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا ، وَلا يَدَعْ أَحَدًا يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person performs prayer facing a sutrah, he should stand close to the sutrah, because Satan passes between that person and the sutrah, and then he should not allow anyone to pass in front of him."
