Hadith 236

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الرَّمَّاحِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، لا تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا ، وَلا تُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى تَحَابُّوا ، أَلا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى أَمْرٍ فَعَلْتُمُوهُ تَحَابَبْتُمْ ؟ أَفْشُوا السَّلامَ بَيْنَكُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not guide you to something which, if you do it, you will love one another? Spread peace among yourselves."
