Hadith 2343

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : بِئْسَمَا عَدَلْتُمُونَا بِالْكَلْبِ وَالْحِمَارِ ، لَقَدْ " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ غَمَزَنِي " .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: You have done a very bad thing; you have equated us (women) with dogs and donkeys, whereas the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform prayer and I would be lying in front of him in the widthwise direction. When he intended to perform Witr, he would move me.
