Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Indeed, Allah Almighty will single out one individual from my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection from among all creation, then He will open for him ninety-nine registers. Each of them will be as large as the eye can see. Then He will say: Do you deny anything from this? Did the recording angels wrong you in any way? He will reply: No, my Lord! Allah Almighty will say: Do you have any excuse or any good deed? That person will be left astonished and will say: No, my Lord! Allah Almighty will say: Yes! You have one good deed with Us, and today you will not be wronged. Then a slip of paper will be brought forth before him, on which will be written: ‘I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and indeed Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and His Messenger.’ Allah Almighty will say: Come to the scale. The servant will say: O my Lord! What is the worth of this slip of paper compared to these registers? Allah Almighty will say: You will not be wronged. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then all the registers will be placed on one side of the scale and the slip of paper will be placed on the other side, and the side with the registers will be lifted up and the side with the slip of paper will become heavy. Then Allah Almighty will say (or perhaps the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said this, or perhaps these are the words of a narrator): ‘Nothing is heavier than the Name of Allah.’”
