أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّغُولِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، أَنَّ قَزَعَةَ ، مَوْلًى لِعَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ أَخْبَرَهُ ، ،أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عِكْرِمَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : " صَلَّيْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَعَائِشَةُ خَلْفَنَا تُصَلِّي مَعَنَا ، وَأَنَا إِلَى جَنْبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُصَلِّي مَعَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I performed prayer standing beside the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) kept performing prayer standing behind us, and I kept performing prayer standing beside the Prophet (peace be upon him), following his lead.
