Hadith 2194

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الأَحْمَرِ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ ، بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَنبَسَةَ الأَعْوَرِ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ ، دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَاكِعٌ ، فَرَكَعَ ، ثُمَّ مَشَى حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِالصَّفِّ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " زَادَكَ اللَّهُ حِرْصًا وَلا تَعُدْ " .
Hasan narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) entered the mosque while the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was in bowing (ruku‘), so he also went into ruku‘ and then, while walking, joined the row. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: May Allah increase you in eagerness, but do not do this again.
