أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْعَابِدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ مَعْدَانَ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ جُبَيْرَ بْنَ نُفَيْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ الْعِرْبَاضَ بْنَ سَارِيَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، وَكَانَ الْعِرْبَاضُ من أهل الصفة ، قال : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ ثَلاثًا ، وَعَلَى الثَّانِي وَاحِدَةً " .
Sayyiduna Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: This Sayyiduna Irbad (may Allah be pleased with him) belonged to the Ahl al-Suffah. He narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate for mercy three times for those in the first row and once for those in the second row.
