Hadith 2089

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جَرِيج ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبَقْلَةِ ، فَلا يَغْشَنَا فِي مَسَاجِدِنَا " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats this vegetable should not come to our mosques near us."
