Hadith 2083

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ ، فَأَصَابَنَا سَمَاءٌ لَمْ تَبُلَّ أَسَافِلَ نِعَالِنَا ، فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُنَادِيَهُ : " أَنْ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ " .
Abu Mulaikh narrates from his father: On the occasion of Hudaybiyyah, we were with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). There, it rained, but it was so little that even the soles of our shoes did not get completely wet. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered his announcer to proclaim: "Perform the prayer at your place of residence."
