Hadith 206

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْمُؤْمِنُ شَهِدَ أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، وَعَرَفَ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَبْرِهِ ، فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلا : يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ سورة إبراهيم آية 27 إبراهِيَم .
Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When a believer bears witness in his grave that there is no deity except Allah, and recognizes that Allah’s Messenger is Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), then this is what is meant by Allah’s statement: ‘Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the firm word, in the life of this world and in the Hereafter.’” , ,
