Hadith 2052

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلاةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلاةِ الْفَذِّ بِسَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Offering prayer in congregation has a superiority of twenty-seven (27) degrees over offering prayer alone."
