Hadith 2047

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلْيَقُلِ : اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ ، وَإِذَا خَرَجَ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَلْيَقُلِ : اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): When a person enters the mosque, he should send blessings upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and recite this: "O Allah! Open the doors of Your mercy for me." And when that person leaves the mosque, he should send blessings upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and recite this phrase: "O Allah! Protect me from the accursed devil."
