Abu Thamamah Hinnat reports: He met Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was going to the mosque. The narrator says: He found me in such a state that I had interlocked my hands with each other. He made me separate my hands and forbade me from doing so. He mentioned this, that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person performs ablution, performs it well, and then sets out with the intention of going to the mosque, he should not interlock his hands with each other, because that person is considered to be in the state of prayer."
