Hadith 2028

أَخْبَرَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِذَا صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ جَلَسَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform the Fajr prayer, he would remain seated in the same place until the sun had risen.
