Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) took the hand of Mu'adh and said: "O Mu'adh, by Allah! I love you." Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: "May my parents be sacrificed for you. By Allah! I also love you." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Mu'adh! I am advising you, never leave reciting these words after every prayer: 'O Allah! Help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner.'" The narrator states: Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) advised these words to his student Sanabihi. Sanabihi advised them to the narrator named Abu Abdur Rahman. Abu Abdur Rahman advised them to the narrator named Uqbah bin Muslim.
