أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ ، بِتُسْتَرَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ ، وَغَيْرُهُ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي وَرَّادٌ ، أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ كَتَبَ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ أَنِ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ حِينَ يَفْرُغُ مِنْ صَلاتِهِ : " لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ، اللَّهُمَّ لا مَانِعَ لَمَّا أَعْطَيْتَ ، وَلا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ " . قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : قَالَ لَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ : دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ ، وَمُجَالِدٌ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ . وَأَنَا قُلْتُ : وَغَيْرُهُ ، لأَنَّ مُجَالِدًا تَبَرَّأْنَا مِنْ عُهْدَتِهِ فِي كِتَابِ الْمَجْرُوحِينَ .
Warrad narrates: Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote a letter to Sayyiduna Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him), asking him to write and send something that he had heard from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). So he wrote in the letter: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), when he finished the prayer, he used to say: "There is no deity except Allah, He is the One and Only, He has no partner. Sovereignty belongs exclusively to Him, praise is exclusively for Him, and He has power over everything. O Allah! There is none who can withhold what You give, and none who can give what You withhold, and the wealth of any wealthy person cannot benefit him against Your will."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) Ahmad bin Yahya narrated this to us as a narration transmitted from Dawood bin Abu Hind and Mujalid, from Imam Sha’bi. But here in the chain I have said: and another person (i.e., did not mention the name of Mujalid), the reason for this is that in the book "Al-Majruheen" we have already declared ourselves free from Mujalid.
