أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَقْرَبُكُمْ صَلاةً بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : " يَقْنُتُ فِي صَلاةِ الظُّهْرِ ، وَصَلاةِ الْعِشَاءِ ، وَصَلاةِ الصُّبْحِ ، بَعْدَ مَا يَقُولُ : سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ ، فَيَدْعُو لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، وَيَلْعَنُ الْكَافِرِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: By Allah! I perform the prayer in a manner better in accordance with the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) than all of you. The narrator states: Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite Qunoot Nazilah after saying «سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَہ» in the Zuhr prayer, the Isha prayer, and the Fajr prayer. In it, he would supplicate for the believers and invoke curses upon the disbelievers.
