Sayyiduna Rifa’ah bin Rafi’ Zurqi رضي الله عنه narrates: One day we were performing prayer behind the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. When he raised his head from bowing, he said «سَمِعَاللهُلِمَنْحَمِدَہ». A person behind you recited these words: “O our Lord! All praise is exclusively for You, such praise that is abundant, pure, and blessed in it.” When the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم completed the prayer, he inquired: Who was the one speaking just now? A man replied: O Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم), it was I. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: I saw more than thirty angels rushing towards those words, as to which of them would record them first.
