أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ بِالأُبُلَّةِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سُهِيَلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ شُعْبَةً ، أَعْلاهَا شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، وَأَدْنَاهَا إِمَاطَةُ الأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Faith has more than seventy branches. The highest of them is to bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and the lowest of them is to remove something harmful from the road.”
