Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would raise his head from bowing (ruku‘), he would recite: “O Allah! O our Lord! All praise is exclusively for You, as much as would fill the heavens and as much as would fill the earth and as much as would fill whatever else You will after that. You are worthy of praise and majesty. There is none who can withhold what You grant, and none who can grant what You withhold, and the status of any person of status does not benefit him against Your will.”
