أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اخْرُجْ ، فَنَادِ فِي النَّاسِ : أَنْ لا صَلاةَ إِلا بِقِرَاءَةِ فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فَمَا زَادَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go and announce among the people that the prayer of the one who does not recite Surah Al-Fatihah and in addition to it (any other Surah) is not valid."
