Hadith 1752

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ قَاضِي مِصْرَ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنِ انْتَظَرَ الصَّلاةَ ، فَهُوَ فِي الصَّلاةِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ " .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): “Whoever waits for the prayer is considered to be in the state of prayer, as long as he does not lose his ablution.”
