Hadith 1701

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا لَمْ تَجِدُوا إِلا مَرَابِضَ الْغَنَمِ ، وَمَعَاطِنَ الإِبِلِ ، فَصَلُّوا فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ ، وَلا تُصَلُّوا فِي أَعْطَانِ الإِبِلِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "When you find only a sheep pen or a camel pen (as a place) to perform prayer, then perform prayer in the sheep pen, but do not perform prayer in the camel pen."
