أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْقَطَّانُ بِالرَّقَّةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، بِالرَّبَذَةِ ، يَقُولُ : كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِحَرَّةِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَاسْتَقَبْلُنَا أُحُدٌ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنَّ أُحُدًا لِي ذَهَبًا أُمْسِي وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ إِلا أَصْرِفُهُ لِدَيْنٍ " ، ثُمَّ مَشَى ، وَمَشَيْتُ مَعَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ " ، قُلْتُ : لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَسَعْدَيْكَ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ الأَكْثَرِينَ هُمُ الأَقَلُّونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، لا تَبْرَحْ حَتَّى آتِيَكَ " ، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ حَتَّى تَوَارَى ، فَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا فَقُلْتُ : أَنْطَلِقُ ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرْتُ قَوْلَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِي فَلَبِثْتُ حَتَّى جَاءَ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أُدْرِكَكَ ، فَذَكَرْتُ قَوْلَكَ لِي ، فَقَالَ : " ذَلِكَ جِبْرِيلُ أَتَانِي فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ : مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " ، قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَإِنْ زَنَى ، وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ؟ قَالَ : " وَإِنْ زَنَى ، وَإِنْ سَرَقَ " ، أَخْبَرْنَاهُ الْقَطَّانُ فِي عَقِبِهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ .
Zaid bin Wahib narrates: I bear witness that I heard Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) saying this at the place of Rabdhah. Once, I was walking on the rocky ground of Madinah Munawwarah with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The mountain of "Uhud" came before us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Dharr! I do not like that I should have gold equal to the mountain of Uhud, and then by the evening, even a single dinar from it remains with me, except that which I have kept for the repayment of a debt. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) continued walking, and I also continued walking with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Dharr! I said: O Messenger of Allah! I am present. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (In terms of wealth and riches in this world) those who have abundance will be the ones with little (reward) on the Day of Resurrection. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Dharr! Stay here until I come to you. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went away until he disappeared from sight. Then I heard a voice. I thought of going forward, but then I remembered the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which he had given me, so I remained there until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned. I said: O Messenger of Allah! I heard a voice. At first, I intended to come to you, but then I remembered your command which you had given me. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That was Jibreel (peace be upon him) who came to me and informed me that whoever from my Ummah dies in such a state that he does not associate anyone with Allah, then that person will enter Paradise. (Sayyiduna Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him, says) I said: O Messenger of Allah! Even if he has committed adultery, and even if he has stolen? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Even if he has committed adultery, even if he has stolen.

This same narration is also transmitted with another chain from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him).

Hadith Grading فضيلة الشيخ الإمام محمد ناصر الدين الألباني [تنبيه!! ] هذا الحديث فصله الشيخ الألباني جزئين لوجود إسنادين به. الجزء الأول: 170 - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ... «وَإِنْ زَنَى، وَإِنْ سَرَقَ» وقال عن هذا الجزء: صحيح - المصدر نفسه، «تخريج فقه السيرة» (446): ق. الجزء الثاني: [170/*] أَخْبَرْنَاهُ الْقَطَّانُ فِي عَقِبِهِ، حَدَّثَنَا ... عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ. وقال عن هذا الجزء: لم يحكم الشيخ على هذا الجزء. [تنبيه آخر] في «طبعة باوزير» «آتِيَكَ» بدلا من «أُدْرِكَكَ» وكتب الشيخ تعليق على هذه اللفظه فقال: [في الأصل «أتركك»]. - مدخل بيانات الشاملة -. فضيلة الشيخ العلّامة شُعيب الأرناؤوط [تنبيه!! ] هذا الحديث حكم عليه الشيخ شعيب بحكمين لوجود إسنادين به. الإسناد الأول: أخبرنا الحسين بن عبد الله بن يزيد القطان، بالرقة، ... وإن زنى، وإن سرق». الأسناد الثاني: أخبرناه القطان في عقبه، حدثنا هشام بن عمار ... بمثله. وفي كِلا الموضعين قال الشيخ: إسناده صحيح على شرط البخاري. - مدخل بيانات الشاملة -.
