Abdullah bin Buraidah narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "There are three hundred and sixty joints in a human being. It is obligatory upon a person to give charity for each of his joints." The people asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Who has the ability to do this?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The phlegm that you see in the mosque and then bury, or the (harmful) thing that you remove from the path (this is charity), and if you do not find these things, then two rak'ahs performed at the time of Duha will suffice for you." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) This is the hadith in which the people of Mard and the people of Basra are unique in its narration.
