It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that he attended a funeral in the neighborhood of Sa’d bin Ubadah, in Awsat, then he walked towards the neighborhood of Banu Amr bin Awf, which was at the end of Banu Harith bin Khazraj. He was asked, “O Abu Abdur Rahman! Where are you going?” He replied: “I am going to that mosque which is in the neighborhood of Banu Amr bin Awf, because I heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: ‘Whoever offers prayer in it, it is equal to performing an ‘Umrah.’”
