Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) bid farewell to a man and asked, "Where do you intend to go?" He replied, "I want to go to Bayt al-Maqdis." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Offering one prayer in this mosque (i.e., the Prophet's Mosque) is more virtuous than offering one hundred prayers anywhere else, except for al-Masjid al-Haram, which is different."
