فصل في الأوقات المنهي عنها - ذكر البيان بأن المدرك ركعة قبل طلوع الشمس من صلاة الغداة عليه إتمام الصلاة بعد طلوع الشمس دون قطعها على نفسهSection on Prohibited Times - Clarification that one who catches a rak’ah of Fajr before sunrise should complete the prayer after sunrise without stopping.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمْةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَخْبَرَهُ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا أَدْرَكَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوَّلَ سَجْدَةٍ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ ، فَلْيُتِمَّ صَلاتَهُ ، وَإِذَا أَدْرَكَ أَوَّلَ سَجْدَةٍ مِنْ صَلاةِ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ ، فَلْيُتِمَّ صَلاتَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a person catches the first rak'ah of Fajr before the sun rises, he should complete his prayer, and when a person catches the first rak'ah of Asr before the sun sets, he should complete his prayer.
