Hadith 1566

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا يَتَحَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِيصَلِّي عِنْدَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ ، وَلا عِنْدَ غُرُوبِهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "No person should attempt to perform prayer when the sun is near rising or when the sun is near setting."
