Hadith 1544

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حِبَّانَ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ ، وَعَنِ الصَّلاةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade performing prayer after the ‘Asr prayer until the sun sets, and after the Fajr prayer until the sun rises.
