Hadith 1483

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمْةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الصَّلاةِ ، فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلاةَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the prayer (within its specified time) has caught the prayer."
