Hadith 1401

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَاعِدًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، إِذْ دَخَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ ، فَقَعَدَ يَبُولُ ، فَقَالَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَهْ مَهْ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تُزْرِمُوهُ " ، ثُمَّ دَعَاهُ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْمَسَاجِدَ لا تَصْلُحُ لِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْقَذَرِ وَالْخَلاءِ " ، وَكَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّمَا هِيَ لِقِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ " ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِدَلْوٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَصَبَّهُ عَلَيْهِ .
Ishaq bin Abdullah narrates from his uncle, Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sitting in the mosque. During this time, a Bedouin came in and began to urinate while sitting. The companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Stop, stop! The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Do not try to stop him while he is urinating. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) called that person and said: It is not appropriate to bring impurity or relieve oneself inside these mosques, or whatever else the Prophet (peace be upon him) said. The Qur'an is recited here, or Allah is remembered here. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) called for a bucket of water and poured it over the spot.
