أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمْةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الِمَنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً ، قَالَتْ : " يَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ، مَا أَصْنَعُ بِمَا أَصَابَ ثَوْبِي مِنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضِ ؟ قَالَ : " حُتِّيهِ ، ثُمَّ اقْرُصِيهِ بِالْمَاءِ ، وَانْضَحِي مَا حَوْلَهُ " .
Sayyidah Asma bint Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A woman asked: O Messenger of Allah! If menstrual blood gets on my clothes, what should I do with it? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Scrape it off, wash it with water, and sprinkle water on the surrounding area.
