باب النجاسة وتطهيرها - ذكر الإخبار بأن المسلم إذا كان جنبا أو غير جنب لا يجوز أن يطلق عليه اسم النجاسة وإن وقع في الماء القليل لم ينجسهImpurity and its purification: Reporting that a Muslim, whether in major impurity or not, is not called impure, and his presence in little water does not make it impure

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الصُّوفِي ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي وَاصِلٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَ : لَقِيَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا جُنُبٌ ، فَأَهْوَى إِلَيَّ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنِّي جُنُبٌ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ لا يَنْجُسُ " .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) met me while I was in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity). He extended his hand towards me, so I said: I am in a state of janabah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A Muslim does not become impure.
