Hadith 1368

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُضَاجِعُ بَعْضَ نِسَائِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ أَمَرَهَا ، فَاتَّزَرَتْ " .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would lie with any of his noble wives and she was in a state of menstruation at that time, he would instruct her to tie a waist-wrapper.
