Hadith 1366

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقُرَشِيُّ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ صَفِيةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَيَّ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ " .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite the Qur'an while reclining on me, and at that time I would be in the state of menstruation.
