Hadith 1360

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، بِبُسْتَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " إِنْ كُنْتُ لأُوتَى بِالإِنَاءِ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ ، فَأَشْرَبُ مِنْهُ ، ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُهُ فِيضَعُ فَمَهُ عَلَى مَوْضِعِ فِي ، فِيشْرَبُ ، وَأَتَعَرَّقُ الْعَرْقَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ ، وَيَأْخُذُهُ فِيضَعُ فَمَهُ مَوْضِعَ فِي " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sometimes a vessel would be brought before me while I was in a state of menstruation. I would drink water from it, then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would take that vessel and place his blessed mouth at the spot where I had placed my mouth and drink the water. Similarly, when I would suck on a bone while in a state of menstruation, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would take it and place his mouth at the same spot where I had placed my mouth.
