Hadith 1358

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَاوِلِينِي الْخُمْرَةَ " ، قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : " إِنِّي حَائِضٌ " ، قَالَ : " إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ فِي يَدِكِ " ، فَنَاوَلْتُهُ . قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : سَمِعَ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ الأَعْمَشَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْبَهِيِّ ، وَالْقَاسِمِ جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Hand me the mat." Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I am in the state of menstruation." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your menstruation is not in your hand." So I handed him the (mat). (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) This narration has been reported by A'mash from Thabit bin Ubaid, and also from Qasim, both from Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).
