Hadith 1296

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ خَلِيلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، وأبي رزين ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُهْرِقْهُ ، ثُمَّ لِيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a dog puts its mouth into the vessel of any person, he should pour out the water and then wash it seven times."
