Hadith 1265

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، كَانَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الرِّجَالَ وَالنِّسَاءَ كَانُوا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ فِي زَمَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمِيعًا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: In the blessed era of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), men and women (that is, husband and wife) used to perform ablution together.
